1. Almost all the flags on Main Street U.S.A are fake. Disney did this because they did not want to follow all the extensive rules that comes with being an American flag. Like putting them at half mast when something bad happened, this would be a lot of work because there are many flags and this way the flags can be flowing in the sky for all to see and add to the aesthetic. So, the flags could be seen missing a star or a stripe.
